At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, of Mrs. Marion Jean “Gram” Kennedy-Ward (nee Ford) of Charlottetown.
Beloved wife of the late Nelson S. Kennedy, and dear mother of Gloria Jean (Gordon) Batt and Nelson (Lillian) Kennedy. She is also survived by five loving grandchildren, Randy (Carol) Sellar, John (Jennie) Sellar, Nancy (Sherwyn) MacArthur, Brad (Jennifer) Kennedy, and Bonnie (Kent) MacDonald; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Jean Ford and Bernice “Bea” Ford.
She was predeceased by her second husband, Orville Ward; parents, Elby and Jean (MacDonald) Ford; brothers, William, Arnold and Wendell “Foo” Ford.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment later in People’s Cemetery.
Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
