It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Marion Boutilier, on Jan. 31, 2010, at the Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility.
Born in Port Hood, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ida (Ferris) MacDonald.
She was employed as a bookkeeper, for the family business, Boutilier’s Auto Salvage.
Marion enjoyed sewing, needlepoint and spending time with her family.
Marion is survived by her sons, Larry (Chris) Boutilier, Sydney, Kevin (Marley) Boutilier, Halifax; two granddaughters, Jaimie Boutilier and Kristin Boutilier. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Jessome, Balls Creek; brother, Ralph (Marjorie) MacDonald, Port Hood; sisters-in-law, Mamie Gouthro and Jean O’Brien; several nieces and nephews, as well as the father of her children, Charles Boutilier.
Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Willard and Larry.
Cremation has taken place. By her request there will be no visitation. A private family funeral service will be held at a later date.
