At Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, of Edgar Franklyn Sentner, Alberton, aged 72 years. Born in Roseville Aug. 23, 1940, son of the late Emmett and Francis (nee Matthews) Sentner. Dear father to Kevin (Kelly), Huntley; Sonya, Charlottetown; Chris (Willie), New Lowell, ON; Jim, Grand Prairie; Natalie (Wade), Cascumpec; and Kelly Dawn (Junior). Cherished grandfather to 12 grandchildren. Edgar is also survived by brothers and sisters: Miriam Thomson, O'Leary; Percy (Norma), O'Leary; Verouse (Helen) Sentner, Cape Wolfe; Elizabeth "Betty" Grant, Vernon River; Arlene (Doug) Smith, O'Leary; David (Bonnorae), Piusville; Emily (David) Ellsworth, St. Lawrence; Linda (Percy) Manual, Edmonton; and Gary (Rhoda) Sentner, St. Lawrence, sister-in-law Mary Kay Sentner, Summerside. He is also survived by the mother of his children Marlene Millman and his mother-in-law Ruth Millman, Alberton. Predeceased by parents, son-in-law Michael Coughlin and brother John.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Friday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in Miminegash United Church Cemetery. In memory of Edgar, memorials to Heart and Stroke Foundation or Miminegash United Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
