DUPUIS, ARTHUR - 1928 - 2013 - Arthur Dupuis, 85, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Wednesday, March 6th, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born January 17, 1928 in St-André, he was the son of the late Philippe and Claudia (Bourque) Dupuis. Before his retirement, he was the owner and operator of the former Dupuis Grocery in St-André. He was an avid Toronto Blue Jays and Maple Leaf`s fan. He enjoyed gardening and spending time outside cutting firewood. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 60 years, Albertine; two daughters: Suzanne Dupuis (Bill Mann) of Riverview and Mona Boleyn (Giles) of St-André-LeBlanc; three sons: Ronny (Francine) and Gérald (Linda) all of Cap-Pelé and Michel (Brigitte) of St-André-LeBlanc; one sister, Betty LeBlanc (Rod) of Dieppe; seven grandchildren: Jasmine, Simon, Sylvain, Adèle, Vickie, Patrick and Justin; one great-grandson, Xavier, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Albert; half-brother, Alphonse McGraw; grandson, Michael Boleyn.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642, Acadie Street, Cap-Pelé, on Sunday, March 10th, from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, on Monday, March 11th, 2013 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
