We the family of late Eldon Johnston, wih to extend a heartfelt thank you to family, friends and neighbours who expressed their sympathy, love and support during this difficult time. Thank you to all who visited our home, sent food, sympathy cards, mass cards, donations and monetary gifts. Thank you to all who visited the funeral home and attended his beautiful service and reception. A huge thank you to all the Doctors and nurses of Palliative care, the VON nurses and northside homemakers who made a difficult time more bearable, especially Susan MacKenzie. Also to the ladies auxillary at St. Pius, Sydney Mines, Andrew Doyle, Marrin MacDonald and the choir. Thank you to Lorie Pyke and niece Keisten Johnson for their readings. Special thanks to granddaughter Tara Penny for her beautiful poem, and brother Kenny for the heartfelt eulogy. Thank you to pallbearers Eddie Doyle, Greg Popovich, Joe Anthony, Roddie Gillis, Jeff Penny and Francis MacKinnon. Also to Big Anne and John MacMullin for their many visits during his illness.
