Passed peacefully away March 7, 2013, in her 103rd year, Alice Bernadette Bown (Jackman) of St. John’s, formerly of Bell Island. Predeceased by husband Addison, infant son Gerald, daughter Kathleen (Smith), and grandson Dean Morrissey. Leaving to mourn sons: William and Thomas (Joan); daughters: Loretta (Patrick) Morrissey, Niagara Falls, and Elaine (Patrick) Stamp; grandchildren: Patrick (Robin) and Neil Morrissey; Craig (Mary), Franca, Katrina and Kyle Smith; Carolyn (Aaron) Morgan; Brian Stamp (Jillian Power) and Blair Stamp (Victoria O’Grady); great-grandchildren: Anneliese and Michaella Morrissey, London, Ontario; Veronica, Samantha and Alexandra Smith, Guelph, Ontario; Claire and Amelia Stamp: sisters: Mary (Walt) Butler, Niagara Falls, and Isabel Buffett, Calgary, Alberta. Many special nieces, nephews and friends; the residents and staff of Kenny’s Pond Retirement Home and Glenbrook Lodge. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass 9:30 a.m., Monday, March 11th at Mary Queen of Peace Church. Interment later at the R.C. Cemetery on Bell Island.
