WESTVILLE / TRENTON – Arlene Jean MacKenzie, age 59, of Westville, formerly of Trenton, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late James Bernard and Georgina MacDonald (Fraser) Cunningham.
She was a long time employee of Atlantic Motors. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was an avid baker.
She is survived by a son, Lee (Krista), Trenton; granddaughters, Hayley and Emily; sisters, Barb (Hugh) Cameron, Sylvester; Margie (Don) MacPherson, New Glasgow; brother, Dan (Carolyn), Pictou Landing; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton, from where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Mr. Fergie MacKay officiating. Burial will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Family flowers only please. Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or the S.P.C.A.
