TARGERSON- Jeanette Anita Elaine passed away on January 28th, 2010 at the Cypress Regional Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 84 years. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Linda Hall officiating. The pallbearers were Lyle Burnett, Jason Tangen, Tracy Tangen, Cecil Targerson, Trent Targerson and Trevor Targerson. The ushers were Glen Pederson and Greg Targerson. The honour guards were formed by the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She is survived by her two sons: Barry (Dallas) Targerson and Wayne (Tracy) Targerson of Swift Current, SK; five grandchildren: Trevor (Jyl), Trent (Meg), Tricia, Christine (Quinton) and Lisa (John); 6 great-grandchildren: Ryanne, Kelsey, Sydney, Pearce, Tyler and Sara; 4 brothers: Roger Tangen, Bob Tangen, Harold Tangen and Gary Tangen; and 3 sisters: Faye Romano, Sheila Bloomberg and Cheryl Howes. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore (Ted), parents Amie and Selma Tangen and by a daughter Lois Ann in infancy. She was also predeceased by her sister Donna Tangen, sister and brother-in-law Audrey and Joe Street and sister-in-law Sybil Tangen. Jeanette was born September 21 st, 1925 on the family farm in the Leinan District. After high school she moved to Swift Current and worked at Coopers Store, later the Pioneer Co-op. She then worked a number ofyears at Western Savings & Credit Union until her retirement in 1979. She married Ted Targerson on August 7th, 1946. Her main interest in life was spending time with her family and friends. Nothing meant more to her than being with those she loved whether that be while camping, golfing or simply sitting on the patio celebrating life's special occasions together. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 42 years.

When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn't tie yourselfto me with tears
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave to you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
But now it's time I travelled on alone.
So grieve awhile for me if grieve you must;
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on;
So if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see nor touch me, I'll be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear,
All of my love around you, soft and clear.
And then when you must come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome Home!"
