BETTLE, CARL - The death of Carl Reid Bettle, age 82, husband of Helen (Hall) Bettle of Fox Hill, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB, on Sunday, March 10, 2013. He was born in Saint John, NB, on November 21, 1930, the son of the late Adolphus and Dorothy (Reid) Bettle. Carl is survived by his wife Helen; sons Paul and Betty, Brad and Enid, and Chris and Amanda; grandchildren Jeremy, Kara, Shawn, Aaron, Craig, Jonathan, Sara, Andrew and Emma; great grandchildren Thomas, Jena, Jacob and Reid; sister Lois Sharp and brother Harold Bettle; He was predeceased by infant daughter; brothers Ralph and Gerald; sister Evelyn.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm and on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am from St. Paul’s United Church, Sussex, NB. Interment will take place later in Ocean View Cemetery. Donations in memory of Carl, may be made to the Kings County Agricultural Museum, Sussex Extra-Mural Fund, or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
