At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Sunday, March 10, 2013, of Clarence Willard Rayner, Cascumpec, aged 85. Beloved husband of Betty (Ford) Rayner. Born in West Devon March 4, 1928, son of the late Stanley and Mabel (MacAusland) Rayner. Dear father to Joyce (Phil) Kicksee, Greenmount; Glennis (Allen) Steele, New Jersey; Pauline (Blair) Ellis, Unionvale; and Darryl (Anita) Rayner, Roxbury. Loving grandfather to 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Clarence is also survived by his sister Annie (James) Bridges, Mount Pleasant, brothers Stirling (Margaret) Rayner, Summerside; Alton Rayner, Northam; and Silbert (Carol) Rayner, West Devon; brothers and sisters-in-law Jean Costain, Summerside; Robert (Judy) Ford, St. Catherines, ON; Mary Ford, Tignish; and Geralda Coughlin, Tyne Valley. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Ray and Eldred. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Tuesday, March 12, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service Wednesday, March 13, at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in the Cascumpec United Church Cemetery. In memory of Clarence, memorials to the Parkinson Foundation or the Western Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
