SAVOIE, LAURIER JOSEPH – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Laurier Joseph Savoie which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, March 11th, 2013. Born 1948 in Saumerez, NB, he was the son of the late Albeine and Yvonne (Duguay) Savoie. Laurier worked as a painter/foreman with Loyalist Painting for over 40 years. Laurier will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 44 years Angela (Robichaud) Savoie of Saint John, NB; daughters Natalie Jefferson (Ken) and Lisa Quigley (Martin) of Saint John; brother Claude Savoie (Adrienne) of Caraquet, NB; sister Jeanette Doiron (Michele) of Tracadie, NB; grandchildren Brandon Jefferson and Lillie Quigley and his little buddy Chippy.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Thursday, March 14th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held from St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Friday, March 15th at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in Tracadie, NB at a later date.
