It is with great sadness that the family of the late CECIL KELLY of Spanish Room, NL, announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Sunday, March 10, at the age of 85. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Son – Kevin (Wanda) of Spanish Room; 2 Grandchildren: Sonya Kelly of Burin and Kevina (Michael) Legge of Spanish Room; 2 Great-Grandchildren who were dear to his heart: Ayden & Autumn Legge; Sisters Madonna Paul of Badger and Marcella Fiebelkorn of Homer, Alaska; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents – Mary & Bernard Kelly; Brothers: George, Jack & Bern Kelly; Sisters – Elizabeth Mercer, Mae Mercer & Helen Kelly. Brothers-in-law: Bill Mercer, Jim Mercer, Daniel Fiebelkorn & John Paul; Sisters-in-law: Annie Kelly & Helen Kelly.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Thursday, March 14, at 10:00 a.m. Interment followed at St. John Bosco R.C. Cemetery in Spanish Room. In Cecil’s memory donations may be made to the Kelly family or flowers gratefully accepted.
