LÉGER, IRMA - 1922 - 2013 - It is with deep sorrow that the family of Irma Léger, 90, of Moncton announces her passing at the Moncton Hospital on March 13th, 2013, after a brief illness. Born in Trois-Ruisseaux, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Rosanna (LeBlanc) Léger. Irma was a retired Federal Service employee having worked in Ontario during WWll and No. 5 Supply Depot in Moncton. She delighted in spending the summer months at her cottage in the company of friends and family members. She was an avid reader, loved to sew, paint, do cross-words and travel. She was a loving person and lived life at its fullest. She is survived by five sisters: Stéphanie Léger, Aurea Lirette (Ovila), Hélèna LeBlanc (Paul) all of Moncton, Lorraine Cossette of Lansing, Michigan and Léontine Cormier (Gérard) of Trois-Ruisseaux; two sister's in-law: Léona Léger and Francine Léger, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister, Rachel Damien; three brothers: Alban (her twin), Maurille and Guillaume; a sister in-law, Aline Léger; two brother's in-law: Albert Damien and Antonio Cossette.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642, Acadie Street, Cap-Pelé, on Friday, March 15th, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. and Saturday, March 16th from 9:30 am until departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé, on Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Irma, a donation may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the
direction of Frenette Funeral Center, Shediac (532-3297).
