Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in the presence of her daughter and son-in-law, Ethel M. Emberley of Bay de Verde, aged 90 years. Predeceased by husband Isaac, parents Moses and Bertha Lockyear, sisters Mary Jane, Sarah, Carrie, and Theresa, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Thomas and Gladys Emberley. Leaving to mourn daughter Bertha (Boyd) King; grandchildren: Don (Madonna), Wayne (Nikki), Barbara (Terry), and Cory (Maria); great-grandchildren: Patrick, Brandon, Mary Kate, Amber, Victoria, Devon, Colin and Sarah, as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Visitation Wednesday, March 13, 2-9 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2-9 p.m., and Friday, March 15, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service to take place Friday, March 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
