It is with great sadness that the family of the late MARY CHEESEMAN of Rushoon, NL, announces her passing at her residence in Rushoon, on Tuesday, March 12, at the age of 82. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Son – Don (Marie Finlay) of Rushoon; 4 Daughters – Rita (George Finlay) of Sandy Point, Nora (Reg Dodge) of Rushoon, Shirley (Brian Sceviour) of Lewisporte, & Mary (Jurgen Bunjes) of Rushoon; Daughter-in-law – Trudy Cheeseman of Rushoon; Sisters – Nora Cheeseman of Rushoon, Laura (Earl) Murphy of Summerside, Annie Christianson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Brother – Jack (Delores) Hann of Rushoon; 10 Grandchildren – Natalie Finlay (Sam Chapman), Tanya Finlay (Richard Lavalee), Janice Finlay (Craig Mullins), Paula (Don) Vaters, Christopher Sceviour, Catherine Sceviour (Jason), Courtney Cheeseman (David), Matthew Cheeseman, Nathan Cheeseman & Sydney Bunjes; 1 Great-Grandchild – Grace Mullins; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband – Urban Cheeseman; Sons – William & Urban Jr., Parents – John & Anne Hann; Brothers-in-law – George Cheeseman & Dennis Christianson; Son-in-law – Calvin Lake.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Friday, March 15, at 2:00 p.m., from Christ the King Church. Interment followed at Christ the King R.C. Cemetery in Rushoon. In Mary’s memory donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice. No flowers by request of the family.
