Victor Peterson

On April 11, 1930, in Grangeville, Idaho Leonard and Myrtle Peterson gave birth to a baby boy, Victor Bud. He was the youngest of nine children. He grew up in rural Idaho, near Whitebird. Bud and his brother John decided to take a trip north to Alaska. He fell in love with the north-country and eventually moved to Fort Fraser, BC. It was there he met Anna, the love of his life. They were married for 58 years and together they had five children, eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Bud was taken from us suddenly on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the age of 82 years.
Bud’s family celebrated his memory on
Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Dawson Creek Community Church, Pastors David & Phyllis Roch officiated. Interment will be at a later date.
He will be greatly missed by Anna, his children: Ron Peterson (Bonny), Vicki Peterson, Howard Peterson (Christie), Leanne Bates (Terry), Dawn Unruh (Seymour), all the grand and great-grand kids, and his one remaining brother, John.
