The family of Marie thank all who kindly helped ease her dying as well as her living.

Our appreciation must be offered to Dr. McComiskey and the staff of Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital. We are also grateful to the staff and residents of the Acadian Village for their care and friendship.

Father Maurice O’Quinn was a constant mentor and faithful pastor to Marie, especially during latter years. We thank Father Gale and Father Terry for travelling here to join Father O’Quinn and Father Britto for Marie’s Funeral Mass. Members of St. Stephen’s Parish were significant to Marie and were ever welcoming to her at weekend mass.

Russell’s Funeral Home staff were very competent, helpful and patient in assisting us at this stressful time.

Many members of the MacNeil and Doyle families gave generously of their time to visit and share memories with Marie especially during her six weeks in hospital.

So as Marie would say “thank you”.
