FROST, RHEA MARGARET - It is with great sadness that the family of Rhea Frost announce her passing at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, March 15th, 2013 at the age of 67. Born in Harvey, NB, on October 30th, 1945, she was the wife of Calvin Frost of Lincoln, NB. In addition to her husband, Calvin, Rhea leaves behind her sons, Daniel and Troy (Lucinda); daughter, Pam (Yves) Frost-Lavoie; grandchildren, Alex, Jessie, Riley, MacKenzie and Jordan; brothers, Joey (Ann-Marie) Jones, Paul (Barb) Jones and John Jones; sisters, Leona LeBlanc, Shirley (Mike) Shannon, Marlene Hogan, Barbara (Dale) Jones and Sandra (Sean) Storey; spiritual sisters, Dot and Alana; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and close friends. Rhea was predeceased by her beloved mother, Mary Luke; brother, Bobby; and dear friend, Gail Cunningham. Rhea was a loving wife, mother and nanny whose warm heart and welcoming home were open to everyone. A great storyteller, Rhea loved to talk, but more importantly, she loved to listen and her vitality and strong spirit touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Rhea’s journey through life was an extraordinary one that inspired those around her and one which she savoured every moment of. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
The family would like to specially thank Dr. Peter Fraser for his excellent care over the years and Dr. Gordon Dow at Moncton Hospital whom she considered her angel.
Visitation will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 20th, 2013 from 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Thursday, March 21st at 12 noon with Fr. Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place in the spring.
