NASON, MARJORIE LOUISE - Marjorie Louise Nason, a life long resident of McAdam, NB, until recently moving to Mill Cove, has accepted the invitation to join the spirit world. First making a living as a hairdresser in a shop behind her parent's (Clarence and Helen Stannix) house, it was not long before she and her husband Gordon had their first child, a boy, Randy, quickly to be followed by a second boy, Avery. While Marge permed, cut, and back combed countless hair doos in her house on Beech Street, she found time to enjoy their camp on Waulklehegan Lake on those hot summer days. It was not long before they had their third child, a girl, Janis. Marge became an avid curler when the facility was built in McAdam as well as becoming a member of the McAdam Royal Canadian Legion and the Ladies Auxillary. At most any time she could be heard bragging about her grandchildren, Lauren and Kurt who live in BC and Alberta, Amy, a Doctor in Halifax, or Lisa and Lindsey both residents of Fredericton. Certainly the apple of her eye would have been Lauren's new baby girl, a great grand daughter, Kinsley Foxx.
A celebration of Marge's life will be held later this spring in McAdam, at a date and time to be announced later.
