Catherine Louise Thomas, 77, of Cemetery Road, Pictou Landing First Nations passed away March 15, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Pictou Landing she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary (Julien) Francis.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Robert, Little Harbour; and Melanie, Pictou Landing First Nation.
She was predeceased by her husband Roland, a daughter Patricia Ann and a grandson Ian Thomas.
Her remains will rest in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Pictou Landing First Nation for visiting after 2 p.m. Tuesday from where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with Father Gary MacPherson presiding. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
Donations in memory of Catherine may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
