Peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, of Elizabeth (Liz) Mary Grant (nee Condon) of Charlottetown, age 98 years. Beloved mother of Coreen Conroy (Mike), Ted (Rita), Parnell (Bev), Kevin (Elaine) of Caledonia, Ontario, and Maribeth Osgood (Rich) of San Antonio, Texas. Elizabeth is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and her brother-in-law, Joseph Brine. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Joseph Grant; great-granddaughter, Keegan Grant; parents, William and Cora Condon (nee Landrigan); sisters, Lillian Ambrose, Ada Gillis and Eunice Brine; and her brothers, Lewis and Ralph Condon. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Wednesday, June 25, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 26, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Mikinduri Children of Hope or Don Bosco Missions would be appreciated.
