ESTEY, DARWOOD ARLIS - It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Darwood A. Estey, formerly of Zealand, NB, who passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Darwood was born at Zealand, NB in 1918, a son of the late James and Zella (Brewer) Estey. He is survived by two sons, Arlis and James Estey, both of Mill Cove, NB; his sister, Ethel Hazlett of Stanley, NB; two sisters-in-law, Julia Estey, Fredericton, NB and Mildred Morehouse, Zealand, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Darwood was predeceased by his wife, Anna (Morehouse) Estey, four sisters, Delia Brewer, Gladys Estey, Ida Estey and Verna Jenkins and five brothers, Ossie, Carney, Cedric, Oscar and Eugene Estey.
Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Adrian Golea officiating. Interment will be later at Zealand Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ossie Estey, Danny Estey, Gary Brewer, George Brewer, Danny Morehouse and Tommy Morehouse.
