AUSTIN, CALVIN - Calvin Raymond Austin passed away at the Mill Cove Nursing Home, on Monday, March 18th, 2013 at the age of 90 years. Calvin was the youngest of twelve children, born in Gaspereau, son of the late William and Bertha (Langin) Austin. He is survived by his wife, Violet (Wry) Austin; by sons, William (Yvonne) and Rodney (Sandra); by six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marie Austin. Predeceased by daughter Margaret Young, by brothers Charles, Alva, Lorne, Basil (Infant) and Ivan Austin; by sisters Cora Austin, Beatrice Austin, Annie Armstrong, Edna Cochrane, Theo Corey and Vera (infant).
Visitation will be held from the Chipman Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service to be held from the Chipman United Church on Thursday, March 21st, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Betty-Jean Friedman officiating. Memorials to the charity of donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment will be made in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery at a later date. www.chipmanfuneralhome.ca
