Dolena 'Belle' (MacAulay) Paul

Our beautiful and kind wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend passed away suddenly on the morning of March 14, 2013 in Nanaimo, B.C.
Belle was predeceased by her parents, William and Rebecca (MacLennan) MacAulay of Millville, N.S.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 51 years, David; her daughters, Natalie (Murray), Sherwood Park, Alta., Sandra (Peter), Sherwood Park, Alta. and Janice (Mark), Ottawa, Ont.; grandchildren, Connor, William and Sarah; brothers, Lorne (Joanne) MacAulay of Ottawa, Ont. and Raymond (Juliene) MacAulay of Marion Bridge, N.S.; her nieces, nephew and, not to be forgotten, her furry companion, Buddy.
She was a dedicated and loving grandmother. She was a teacher, having graduated from Normal College in Truro, N.S. and instilled a love for knowledge in her children and grandchildren. She taught in Glace Bay, N.S.; Dartmouth, N.S. and Prince George, B.C. She took great pleasure and comfort in the company of her family and many friends, sharing conversation and laughter. Her favourite hobby was photography and creating beautiful images of the world around her.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
