Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at the Health Sciences Centre on March 17th, 2013 Dot McGory (nee Bussey) at the age of 82. Former employee of Newfoundland Hotel. Predeceased by her father and mother: John and Annie Bussey; sisters: Florence Bussey and Gladys Kearsey; brothers: Eric, Bert and Harold; sisters-in-law: Madeline, Shirley, Jean and Isabel and brother-in-law: James Kearsey. Leaving to mourn son Garry; brother and best friend Bob (Joyce); and brothers: Allan and Ron; sister-in-law Julia; 2 special great-nieces: Leslie and Krista and a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. A very special Thank you to nieces: Kathy Dollmaier (Roy), Cavell Stanley (Ashton) and Pauline Puddicome and nephews: Derm and Jimmy Kearsey for their invaluable care in her final months. Special thanks to the amazing Dr. Lear and Drs. Greenland, Grewal, Cynthia Fontaine and the nursing staff of Health Sciences, 4 North A and B. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 10 a.m. with interment to take place on Thursday, March 21, 2013.
