Kingsley Frost

Frost, Kingsley Lyndall (King) – 89 of Yarmouth, NS. formally of Port Maitland. King was born in Beaver River Digby County June 3, 1923 to the late Orwill Chester and Lucy Hope (Height) Frost. Dad was the owner and operator of O.C.Frost & Son Boat shop in Port Maitland for 46 years.
Dad built boats that where sent to the United States and through tout Nova Scotia. Dad was highly respected in the boat building industry having built 158 boats during his career. He worked with his brother-in-law, James Nestor, for over 30 years.
King is survived by his son Harry (Yvette) Frost, Yarmouth. Daughter-in-law Elizabeth (Moore) Frost, Chatham, Ontario. Grandson Kevin (Kara) Frost, Yarmouth. Granddaughters Jennifer (Cory) Edwards, Chatham, Ontario, Stephanie (Mark) Thompson, London, Ontario. Great grand- children Lillian, Landon, and Alyssa Frost, Yarmouth; Marshall and William Edwards, Chatham. Ontario, and Treyton Thompson, London, Ontario.
Sisters Kathleen (Spurgeon) Conrad, Port Williams, Althea Churchill, Sandford, NS, Faye Nestor, Wellington, NS. Carole Frost, Port Maitland.
Dad was predeceased by wife Lillian (Smith), sons, Rev. Lyndall Frost; brothers Clyde and Roy, sisters Lyla Perry, Leta Outhouse, and Helena Tidd.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation was held Tuesday March 19, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday March 20 from 1-2 p.m at Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service was held Wednesday March 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dale Robertson and Rev. Mike Cannell officiated. Interment was in the Port Maitland/Beaver River Cemetery. King’s request was that donations be made to the Yarmouth Food Bank, where he volunteered for 5 years, or to the Renal Dialysis Unit, Yarmouth Hospital.
