TRASK, KEITH B. - Keith B. Trask, 84, of Riverview, with his loving daughter Tammy at his side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Born in Little River, Digby Co., NS, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Iva (Denton) Trask. Keith was a former Atlantic Canada Manager for Weston Foods and was retired from Bonte Foods Ltd. He was a member of Highfield Baptist Church, where he served his church in various capacities in past years. He was a 47 year member of Coverdale Lodge # 52 F & AM, former president of the Coverdale Temple Board, a Past Patron of Fidelity Chapter #36 O.E.S., Riverview and a Life Member and former Treasurer of the Hub City Seniors Golf Tour. An avid golfer, he enjoyed playing bridge, loved to sing, yodel, listen to music, was a great supporter of his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays and socializing with his friends and family. Keith will be sadly missed by his loving wife of over 53 years, Audrey (Ellis) Trask; children, Tammy Stultz (Dave) of Lower Coverdale, Stephen and Todd, both of Riverview; precious grandchildren, Josh, Andy and Meghan; sister, Virginia Graham (Emmerson) of Windsor, NS; brother, Douglas of Mahone Bay, NS; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Cherie Lynn Trask Geldart (December 1993); sister, June and brother, Clyde.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Coverdale Lodge # 52 F & AM Memorial Masonic Service on Friday at 6:30 pm, followed immediately by Fidelity Chapter #36 O.E.S. Memorial Service at 6:45 pm. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1:30 pm, with Rev. Daniel Cormier officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Grey’s Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, NB. In Keith’s memory, donations to the Cherie Lynn Trask Geldart Memorial Scholarship Fund at Crandall University or memorial of choice would be appreciated by the family.
