John Edward Grayson, born February 9, 1944 in Moose Jaw, SK to Garnet Keith Grayson and Gwendolyn Evans passed away suddenly at his home in Shelburne, NS on Friday, March 15th, 2013 at the age of 69.
John was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Leah (Peterson) Grayson of Shelburne, Nova Scotia and his sons, Garnet (Brittany) Grayson of Moose Jaw, SK; Matthew Grayson of Wainwright, AB; Ken (Melissa) Lyle of Moose Jaw, SK and daughter, Amanda (Garth) Gosselin of Didsbury, AB, his grandchildren, Tennille, Kailey, Katelyn, Camryn, Jenna, Connor and Kiya, as well as his brother David (Carolyn) Grayson of Salt Spring Island, BC.
John will be sadly missed by his family, and extended family including his mother-in-law, Sylvie Peterson, brothers and sisters-in-law and their families, as well as many friends in both Shelburne and Moose Jaw.
In honour of John's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A wake will be held at his home in Shelburne for family and friends on Friday, March 22 from 4-7pm. A memorial will be held in Moose Jaw at a later date.
