Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, of Geraldine Claire MacGregor of Burton, P.E.I., age 95. Beloved wife of the late Melvin MacGregor. Born in Piusville on July 5, 1912, daughter of the late Ambrose and Mary Ann (Kinch) Corcoran. Cherished mother of Kemnie (the late Douglas Ross), Moncton; Bobby, Burton; and Frankie (Elaine), Sherbrooke, Que. Mother-in-law of Lorne Howard, Burton. Grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Agatha Corcoran CSM, Mount St. Mary’s, Charlottetown; and Marguerite Lawrence (late Ray), Roxbury, Mass. Predeceased by daughter, June Howard, and son in infancy. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Monday until 9:45 a.m., then to St. Mark’s Church, Burton Lot 7, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery.
