At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, of Horace Eugene Carmichael of Stratford, age 92 years.
Beloved husband of Mabel (nee Keizer). Dear father of Don (Rita) and Catherine Dashford (Alan). Loving grandfather of Matthew and James Carmichael and Christopher Dashford. Brother-in-law of Frances Carmichael. Lovingly remembered by neices and nephews and especially by niece Marlene Bryenton. Predeceased by his parents, John and Edna Carmichael, by his brothers and sister, Murray (Juliene), Floyd (Barbara), Chester, Eric (Theresa), Keith (Ruth) and Clara. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in York Cemetery. Visitation on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Church, the Terry Fox Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Charlottetown Branch#1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home on Friday evening at 7 p.m.
