At the Riverview Manor on March 20, 2013, the death occurred of Harold Dockendorff, age 91 years.
Born April 16, 1921, in Mount Hope, he was the son of the late Vinehall and Esther (nee Compton) Dockendorff. Survived by his loving wife, Betty Jean (nee Welsh); daughter, Shirley (Milford) Clory; sons, John (Marjorie) Dockendorff and Preston Dockendorff; grandchildren: Sherri, Darren, Arlene, Kevin, Jeff and Melanie; great-grandchildren: Tyler, Alyssa, Maria, Alexis, Regan, Jorja, Katrina, Connor, Ryan, Daniel, Sierra and Riley; stepchildren: Kent, Don, Cathy, Beth, Nancy, and Doug Simpson. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Lois (nee Wood); sister, Lillian Davidson; brothers, Edgar, Gordon and Russell Sr. Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home where visiting will be held Friday, March 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 23, at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in the Acorn Cemetery, Dundas. In lieu of flowers donations to the Acorn Cemetery, Georgetown Baptist Church, or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
