Wile, Willis Ralph, 82, of Windsor, Hants County, It is with great sorrow that the family announces Willis’s passing on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in the Q.E.II Infirmary Site. Born on January 24, 1931 in Wile Settlement, Hants County. He was the son of the late Ralph and Carrie (Wile) Wile. Willis loved fishing, hunting and working in the woods cutting logs. He resided at Victoria Park Guest House a place he called home for over twenty years, where he will be greatly missed by the staff and his friends. Surviving are a brother, Orland “Bob”, Newport Corner, Hants County; sisters, Stella Barkhouse, New Brunswick; Jean Collard, Ontario and Irene Church, Windsor; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Charles, and Wylie; sisters, Mildred and Marjorie in infancy.There was no visitation by request. Funeral service was held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home (902-798-2232), 194 King Street, Windsor. Rev. Garnet Parker officiated. Interment was in the Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor. Donations in memory were requested to be made to any charity.
