MERCER, RAMONA GLORIA - The death of Ramona Mercer of Oromocto, NB, occurred on March 21st, 2013 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born August 22nd, 1949 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Obediah and Doris (Antle) Murray and loving wife to Arthur Mercer. Ramona was always the life of the party with her natural charisma and infectious humor. These personality traits helped her succeed in each and every endeavor she started throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Arthur; her sons, Vincent Mercer (Constanza) of Ottawa, ON and Michael Mercer (Nicole) of Edmonton, AB; her grandchildren, Ashley, Ashlyn and Jaxen; her siblings, John (Agnes), Guy (Marie), and Mable Murray; sister-in-law, Viola Murray and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Joshua Murray.
There will be no visitation or service at this time. Interment will be held in Glace Bay, NS at a later date in the spring. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Oromocto Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. www.oromoctofh.com
