ALMA – Charlotte Ann Silliker, age 72, of Alma, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Charles Arthur “Art” and Jeanette Maude (Johnson) Hayman.
She was a former employee of Clairtone and Quality Cleaners. She was a former member of the Parents Auxiliary to the Westville Air Cadets. She enjoyed playing bingo, computer games, knitting and spending time with family.
She is survived by a son, James, French River; siblings: David (Audrey); Patsy Muise; Kay Goodwin; Donna (Bob) Stanton; Barry (Brenda); Gloria (Tom) Linthorne; Helen (Charlie) Zugay; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Louis and infant daughter Nancy.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will be at a later date in Brookside Cemetery.
