The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Thursday, March 21, 2013, of Raymond "Ray" Joseph Doucette of Summerside, aged 79 years. Ray was born on April 5, 1933, in St. Louis, to his late parents, Fidelle and Anna (nee Gaudet) Doucette. Beloved husband of 59 years to Jean (nee Deagle) Doucette and loving father of Sherry (Al) Glass, Don (Liz), David (Tracy) and Shellie (Peter) Coulson. Also lovingly remembered by his 10 grandchildren: Christopher, Nicholas, Johnathan, Tanyna, Katie, Michael, Harrison, Aron, Samantha and Josh, his step-grandson Jeremy, his 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by his brother Emile (Noella) and his sister Catherine (Larry) Druin. Besides his parents, Ray was predeceased by his infant son Paul and his brother James. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, until Monday, March 25, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for a funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Ray's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
