BURGESS, HELEN - It is with heartfelt sadness, the family of Helen Margaret Burgess of Passekeag, wife of the late Harry Burgess, announces her passing on Friday, March 23, 2013, at White Hall Estates Special Care Home, Kingston. She was born, June 27, 1920 in Hibernia, NB, daughter of the late Raymond and Elsie (Vallis) MaGee. Helen is survived by her daughters, Helen Hinchberger and her husband Doug of Sarnia, ON, Ruth Schmidt and her husband Richard of Calgary, AB, Kathy Leasa and her husband Gerry of Sarnia, ON, Shirley Richard and her husband Jean-Louis of Saint John, NB; sons Marvin Burgess and his wife Beverley of Bridgewater, NS, Bill Burgess of Bloomfield, Jack Burgess and his wife Suzanne of Seba Beach, AB, Michael Burgess and his wife Cathy of Salisbury, NB; daughter-in-law Mary Burgess of Edmonton, AB; twenty grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Raymond Burgess, sisters Annie MaGee, Ruth Hodgson, Kit Cawley, brothers John, Harold, Gerald, Murray and Frank.
She is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, with visiting on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8pm. Funeral service, conducted by, Rev. Dr. Ron Vincent, will be held from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Interment will take place in Lower Central Norton Baptist Cemetery.
