DOUCETTE, Kathryn Elizabeth – 82, Lakeside, Yarmouth, formerly of Arcadia, passed away on March 23, 2013 surrounded by her loving family in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on May 30, 1930 in Melbourne, Yarmouth Co., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Violet (Harrington) Muise. She is survived by her children, Raymond (Nancy), Arcadia; Steve (Lavern), Plymouth; Ronald (Emilda), Arcadia, Walter (Melissa), Digby; Jacinta Thibedeau-Doucette (Francis), Mood Rd.; Irene (Henry) Thibodeau, Meteghan River; daughter-in-law, Pam, Arcadia; brothers, Arthur, Nelson and William, of Melbourne; Gerald, Chebogue; sisters, Pauline DeViller, Yvonne Fitzgerald and Norma Surette, of Melbourne; 18 grand children; 32 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; She was predeceased by her loving husband, Edmund; son, Arthur; son-in-laws, Daniel and Neil; grandchildren, Andrea and Raymond Jr.; great grandsons, Jared and James; brother, Douglas in infancy. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes, 29 Albert Street Yarmouth. Visitation was from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 24 with prayers at 8 p.m. A funeral mass was held at 2 p.m. on Monday at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, Yarmouth, Father John MacPherson officiated.Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations in Kathryn’s memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
