NEEDLE, WENDY - Wendy Lee (Fillmore) Needle, loving wife of Scott Needle passed away suddenly on March 24, 2013. Born 1970 in Saint John, she is the daughter of Randy and Susan (Coughlin) Fillmore. Wendy graduated from Saint John High School in 1988 and from the New Brunswick Community College. She was a volunteer for the Saint John Mill Rats Foundation and was very active in the Africa to Canada Campaign. She worked as a Project Manager for Swift Radius. She loved to spend time with her family; watch Noah play basketball and watch MacKenzie with gymnastics. In addition to her parents and husband she is survived by her son Noah (10) and daughter MacKenzie (8); sister Elaine Evans (David) of Browns Flat; sister-in-law Heather Hubbard (Robin) of Saint John; father and mother-in-law Elmer and Mary (Downs) Needle; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, one great nephew and many friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents Ernest and Constance Fillmore and Peter and Evelyn Coughlin and two aunts.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
