Passed peacefully away at Hoyles Home on Sunday, March 24, 2013, George Barfoot in his 81st year. Predeceased by his parents: Isabel and William Barfoot; partner Eileen Broderick; sister Dulcie Littlejohn; and brother Douglas (Phyllis) Barfoot. Leaving to mourn sister Edna Jeroma; brother Clarence (Beryl) Barfoot; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave on Wednesday, March 27th,from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, Hamilton Ave on Thursday, March 28,2013 at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi, Outer Cove, NL.
