He leaves to mourn his loving family: wife: Elsie Manning; children: Randy (Daphne) Pike & Ruby (Ken) Peddle; grandchildren: Donald, Holly (Richard), Jennifer (Paul), Sarah & Kayla; great-granchildren: Abby & Kaitlyn; siblings: Cliff (Janet), Winnie & Muriel (Rev. John); sister-in-law: Mary step-children: Larry (Sheila), Dora (Terry), Tony (Debbie), Shirley (Gord), Sandy (Mark), Vera (Colleen) & Dezie (Kevin); 10 step-grandchildren & 5 step- great-grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings: Myrtle (Bob), Cyril (Margot), Elva (Charles), Verna (Harry), George, brother-in-law Jack, stepson Don, parents George & Margaret. The funeral service will take place at Slade’s Funeral Home, Carbonear on Thursday, March 28 at 2 p.m. with inurnment to follow at a later date. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Carbonear, between the hours of Tuesday: 3-5 & 7-9, Wednesday: 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. & Thursday 10:30 - 12 noon.
