When links of love are broken
And love ones have to part
It leaves a wound that never heals
And an ever aching heart
When the family gets together
There's one we do not see
It fills our hearts with sadness
Thinking how it used to be
We talk about the old times
A though we smile the same
It hurts deep inside us
When someone speaks your name
So we all have our memories
From which we'll never part
God has you in His keeping
We have you in our hearts.
