Theresa Patricia Rycroft, 82 passed away March 24, 2013 in Arborstone Enhanced Care Facility.
Born in Long Island Main, Cape Breton, she was the daughter of Philip and Mary Steele. Mom lit up the room with her smile. She made everyone she met feel special. Whether she was Theresa, Mom, Nanny or Auntie Terry, she was loved by all and will be forever missed.

She is survived by daughters, Dale Rycroft (Robert), Timberlea and Sharon Comeau (Julien), Halifax; sons, Dennis (Joanne), Lr. Sackville and Richard (Allison), Petawawa; grandchildren, Melissa, Heather, Jessica and Thomas; sisters, Sally Peron, Ont. and Marjorie Chow (Mario), North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband, Vernon Rycroft; sisters, Florence, Lillian, Margaret and Josephine and brothers Douglas, Wilfred, Hector, Dan and Roddy.
There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, St. Michael's Ave., Spryfield, Rev. Frank Pellerine officiating, burial in Oakridge Memorial Gardens, Lr. Sackville, N.S.
