Passed peacefully away at St. Luke’s Home on Saturday, February 6, 2010, Irene Bonnell age 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Edgar; brother Hector Meadus and sisters Neta Wood, Winnifred Janes, and Hilda Snow. Leaving to mourn her son Keith, wife Debbie, daughter Jeanette Pottle, husband Jim; three grandchildren Jacqueline Pottle, Ross Bonnell, wife Sarah, and Natalie Bonnell; sister Gwendolyn Dawe and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at St. Luke’s Homes. At Irene’s request cremation has taken place. Family will receive relatives and friends at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday, February 8th, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.. Funeral service will be held at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Craigmillar Avenue on Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 at 11 a.m. followed by interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Irene’s memory to the St. Luke’s Auxiliary.
