The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday June 28, 2008, of William Hazen Dykeman of York, age 71. Loving husband of Myrna (Dykeman). Loving father of Kent (Joanne), Kathy (Greg) Caseley, Deanna (Daniel) Gaudet, Bonnie Vessey, Debbie (Craig) Murray, Julie (Jamie) Vessey, Beverley (Darren) Smith, Robert, Edward and Lavilla. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Jamie, Jeremy, Christopher, Luke, Mitchell, Emma, Heather, Sylvie, Jacqueline, Amber, Brianna, Nicholas, Cassidy and Megan. Brother of Juanita Robinson, Florence Cole and Dr. Winston (Doreen) Dykeman. Predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Marjorie (Thompson) Dykeman and his grandson, Andrew Vessey. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Monday from St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Interment in York Cemetery.
