The death occurred peacefully at the Hillsborough Hospital on June 27, 2008, of Edward Angus Matheson, formerly of Montague. Age 73. Survived by sister Viola (Fred) Herring and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Angus and Edna (Mosher) Matheson; sisters and brothers Doris Dewar, Lemuel Matheson and infant Mary. Resting at Southern Kings and Queens Funeral Home, Murray River, for visitation on Tuesday, July 1, from 7-9 p.m. only. Funeral service to be held from the funeral home chapel on July 2 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Wood Islands Cemetery.
