GOODWIN, Lennie Gertrude – 74, of Yarmouth, passed away at home on March 25, 2013. Born in Yarmouth on August 18, 1938, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Surette. Lennie is survived by her daughter, Gail Nickerson (Terry King), Yarmouth; sister, Kay (Edward) Robicheau, Yarmouth; Bertha Cunningham, Quebec; brothers, Doug (Cecilia) Surette and Robert “Chetnut” Surette, both of Yarmouth; grandson, Alex (Denise) Nickerson, Alberta; great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Tyson. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy “Happy” Goodwin; sister, Julie Strugnell; brother, Art Surette. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes Ltd., 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation by the request of the family. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2 in Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Yarmouth, with Rev. Bill Newell officiating. An interment will be held in the Forest Grove Cemetery, East Pubnico. Family flowers only.
