It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Courtney Archibald Hart at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital on Thursday, March 28.
Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late John and Mary (Williams) Hart.
Courtney is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Yates); daughter Kim (Lonzo); sons John (Stacy), Bernie, Kevin, Gareth, and Trevor (Lauren); sister Theresa; and brothers Erbin (Gail) and David (Gail). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Courtney is predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held Monday April 1, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. at the SW Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney.
Memorial service to take place on Tuesday April 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or Palliative Care.
