William ‘Billy’ Hannam, 65, of Sydney passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Percy and Sadie (MacAulay) Hannam.
Billy was a faithful member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed spending his summer evenings at the Sydney waterfront.
Billy is survived by his sister Patsy Hannam, Sydney, and several cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Dougie.
Funeral service will take place Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. in Bethel Presbyterian Church with Rev. Robert Lyle officiating. Interment at Hardwood Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church Benevolent Fund.
