Passed peacefully away on March 24, 2013 at Chancellor Park, St. John's, Florence Cole, age 96 years, formerly of Amherst Cove. Predeceased by her spouse Frank Cole; children: Benvy and Daphanie Cole; parents: Mary and Herber Cole; son-in-law Bruce Sheppard; and sister Mildred Cole. Leaving to mourn her daughter Doreen Sheppard; granddaughter Ginelle Jones (Husband Jamie); sisters: Cathy Hicks and Janet Abbott; nieces, nephews, family and a close circle of friends. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. John Gillam took place on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 from St. Nicholas Church, Amherst Cove with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Amherst Cove.
