Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on February 6th, 2010 at the L.A. Miller Centre, P.C.U. Wayne Patrick Richards age 54 years. Predeceased by his parents William and Mildred Richards; brother Fred; sisters: Mary, Merlie, Georgina and mother-in-law Mary Coffey. Wayne, now in the arms of God, is lovingly watching over his wife and best friend of 34 years, Janet, his ever-loving and devoted daughters: Sherry, Shallen (Jason King) and Stephanie (John Couch), and his beautiful grandchildren: Steven Tapper & Haleigh Richards, Jessica, Jamie & Jacob Peddle, Daniel & Hannah Couch. Also leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are brothers: Kieran, Paul (Millie), Bill (Barb), David (Joan), Harry (Gail), Andy (Georgina) and Frank; sisters: Patricia Gardiner (Martin), Gertie Wheaton (Ron) and Jenny Ward (John); In-laws Gerald Coffey Sr. (Clara), Karen Trask, Vaughn Coffey (Jackie Barry), Susan Coffey and Gerry Coffey (Wanda); extended families Ken and Elfie Couch (ON), Joy & David Gershman (Aus), Jamie Peddle, Hazel Willcott, Lloyd & Angela Smith and family, special cousin and friend Freddie Richards, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayne will certainly be missed by special buddies Bruce Smith, Delores Biggs, Dave Fitzgerald and Jim Byrne. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
